Why-oh-why-oh-why?

I've always wondered, after my new and good friend Samantha, why they did this --

I mean, it's not like they have too. I guess it's so they have they can have new dolls. Well, I don't think they had to retire good old Sam & Kirsten. If historical characters are about 'remembering the past' shouldn't they keep the past? Also, they should keep the first three, Kirsten, Molly and Samantha. They are special, because they were the first dolls of American Girl. Humph. Everyone thought they'd retire Molly next, and (no offence to Molly) I can see why. But Felicity, and Elizabeth? I don't understand. Does anyone know why??????? I guess AG has their reasons. But there is a good thing about retiring Felicity - Lily might get her for Christmas (Lily's mum said no more blondes, so she couldn't get Elizabeth)! I hope she does. Lily might get a MAG for her b'day, which is in 23 days. Can you guess what date it is? Why-oh-why-oh-why do they have to retire?

On the happier side (I know this is old now) AG has some awesome new things for MAG.

Okay, I just love the travel set! Tooooo cute!

Halloween's coming up! Yipee!

Okay, probably bored you. Promise I'll have an interesting little story and some pics for you tomorrow.

Oh yeah, notice: I just love reading stories, especially by girls like you! Please send them to me at juliealbright.46@gmail.com and if you want, (even anonymously) I'll post it. Well, gotta go and take those photos!

Peace Out,

Sorry.....................

Oh my gosh, I'm so ashamed of myself for not posting for such a loooooong time, tsk, tsk.  Sorry! Anyway,  guess where I am? In Hamilton Island! The most beautiful place in the world. Apart from the fact it's raining. :( It is just pouring and pouring and pouring and, and... you get the idea. Boo-hoo. But before the dreadful rain, I had been snorkelling, (it was hard to get the right size for me) catamaraning (it's a boat that Lily can steer very well) and lots and lots and LOTS of swimming. Yay! Well, it's supposed to clear up tomorrow.

You may be wondering how I can write on an Island. There's good internet here. Surprisingly.

Well. Thanks for reading!

Peace Out,

Julie

Family Photos - Sigh.

School today. Bor-ing! Well, one thing did happen. I had to take family photos this afternoon. You see, Kit loves photos. If they don't have her IN them. Which made us late.

"I don't want a photo taken of me!"
"Nor do I, but we have to." I said.
"Says who?"
"Lily and me."

You get the picture. Anyway, so we finally got on the train (finally I tell you, finally) and travelled to the photography studio. Well we got out and stared up at the sign.

Kit rolled her eyes.
"Come on, we're already half an hour late." Lily glared at Kit, who rolled her eyes, and I nudged her.

"Behave yourself!" I mimicked her strict grandmother in her disgustingly high-pitched voice.

AT LEAST I got a laugh out of her.

"Honestly, your as bad as her," she joked.

Well, we finally, after 1 000 000 000 photos went out for a hot chocolate, came back and (didn't) marvel at our photos.

Lisa, our photographer, LOVED Kit. She kept on going about her. Okay. I'm jealous. ANYWAY.

Here is how our photos turned out:

Okay, I better go 'cause Lily's yelling at me to get off the computer.

Wait one sec - "I'M COMING!"

All done. Well, anyway, see ya!

Peace Out,

Julie

Welcome!

Welcome, friend! (Hopefully) My name is Julie, and I'm an 18" American Girl Doll from California. Until, I was picked up from an American Girl Store in New York and flown over to a little suburb in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and on Christmas Day was opened by the little (actually, quite large) fingers of ten-year-old Lily. You'll hear about her a lot. Anyway, so hear I am now, with my new sister and BFF Kit, who has lived most of her life here. Kit's lucky. She got to go to Disneyland with Lily. Anyway. Lily uses her Dad's camera and gave me permission to start my very own blog. I decided, with the help of Kit, to call it Peace Out, Julie. We are best friends. Anyway, I hope you seriously enjoy hearing about my not-so-interesting (just kidding) life. Oh yeah, call me Jules. It's my nickname.

Peace Out,

Julie
