Tearstains.

I feel terrible. As in sick terrible, scared terrible, tortured terrible. And a million times better at the same time. Today was immaculately horrible. (I think that's an oxymoron...)

*~*~*~*

It was 6.30am. I was fifteen minutes late for my own teams basketball training. I felt guilty, but it wasn't my fault. I picked up Meg on the way to school to introduce her to the team. I hurried to the hall and saw that Ashlynn had organised the warm-ups. I hurried up to the front.
"Hey, thanks Ashlynn." I smiled warmly at her. "Would you like me to start the training? You've been coaching everyone really well, thanks."
"No, I'm fine thanks." she shrugged me away coldly, not looking at me.
"Ashlynn... Ashlynn..." I tried to talk to her, but she kept ignoring me.
"And 15 laps around the gym!" Ashlynn yelled. Lanie and Sienna bit her lips, and went to stand beside me.
"What is going on?" Meg whispered. "I thought you were the coach."
"So did I," I whispered back.
"Aren't you supposed to be doing 15 laps around the gym, Sienna. Lanie. And Julie." Ashlynn snapped.
"Ashlynn! You do realise who you're talking to! I'm the coach here, not you! You were the stand-in!"  I said exasperatingly.
"Well, I say I'm the coach," sneered Ashlynn.
"What is wrong with you, Ashlynn?" Lanie cried loudly. That was the first time she's done that.
Ashlynn gave Lanie the most filthiest look right then. It was so mean, tears started rolling down Lanie's cheeks. Sienna and Meg comforted Lanie while I stepped forwards to confront Ashlynn myself.
"If you're so certain, we'll cast a vote," I smirked.
"Deal," she agreed.
"Everyone, listening up! Down to the middle," I yelled out. Everyone crowded around us. "We're going to cast a vote on your coach. Raise your hand to your favourite preference, out of Ashlynn or I."
There was a cold silence.
"Ashlynn?" Sienna asked. Rachel and Freya and Lola raised their hands.
"Julie?" Sienna asked again. Everyone else.
It was clear, I won. I smiled a sigh of relief.
"Okay then." Ashlynn was almost in tears of disappointment. "I'm quitting this lousy team."
Lola, Freya and Rachel put a looks of question on their faces, than nodded.
"Julie, we're done," Freya choked.
I nodded, angry inside. "Fair enough." When it wasn't at all.
"Julie, we have five people left!" Mollie cried out.
I grinned. "Meet... Meg!"
We all gave Meg a round of applause to welcome our newest member.

She has this grin that makes you smile as well, and was using it then.
Everyone was happy except for poor Lanie. She was sitting on a bench, sobbing. I slowly walked towards her.
"Lanie, what's the problem?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing..." she murmured.
I took a seat next to her. "You sure?"
She took a breath and spilled. "I used to be really close to Ashlynn. She was my best friend. Actually my only. I never liked Trisha and her group. I only hanged out with them because when I first came to the school, she was my best friend and Trisha's. When you were in hospital, she dumped me and after this I've lost her for good. But I'm kind of glad in a way as well. I have you, Meg and Sienna... you guys make me smile so much.
"Don't worry, we'll take good care of you."

To be continued...

Lily here! I'd just like to say a few words.

First up, I'd like to say sorry for abandoning the blog with Jules...

Second, I just watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I don't care what others say, but it's my least favourite book, but favourite movie. It makes me cry, it's so touching this one, especially when Sirius passes away, but Luna makes me laugh.

Luna Lovegood....

Don't you love how Luna skips when she walks, with her hair flying everywhere?

Hermione and Ron... don't you find Hermione was mainly calling Ron Ronald for the duration of the movie? I did.  It's so obvious they're in loooooove... <3

In this movie, Ginny has a major crush on Harry... can't you see the way she looks at him, especially when Harry went up to meet Cho before the mistletoe incident... XD

How could we forget Harry? I think he had a bit of a temper in HP5. More in the movie, slightly less in the book.

The lot of them at the department of mysteries... sorry I didn't do a bit on Neville, but yes I  <3 him as much as the rest.

All photos courtesy from Harry Potter Wiki. They were not mine.

Thanks guys for listening to Julie and I's rants. Sorry if you're asleep. Hope you enjoy the new renovations of the blog!

Peace Out,

Julie & Lily

Guilt.

Hi. Believe it or not, I, Julie Marie Albright has touched down to the blogging world. I feel so guilty for abandoning my ever faithful followers. I'd like to thank you for your emails and comments, those are which pulled me back to this world of blogging. You see, shortly after my most unrecent post,  I was diagnosed with some disease and spent a month in hospital. I was extremely ill. When I got home from hospital, I started feeling better, but had a block to get back to blogging. It took me a while to get back here, but here I am. I should've let you guys know what was happening, but it just wasn't a top priority back than. Will you forgive me? Well, forget the past, I'm back here for good and STAYING. Some happy random thoughts:

1. Ashlynn took over basketball for me. We have been going great, haven't lost again and the premiership is next weekend, and that will be my first games since hospital!

2. Kit quit modelling. Wasn't for her. Sigh. of. relief.

3. Josefina got straight A's in her report card for first term. Go Josie!

4. A new girls is sitting next to me. Her name is Meg, and is a national basketball player! (that's awesome) She's a great friend and will definitely be joining the Magics.

5. New stuff is defintely your way! Posting shortly will be a competition... yay!

6. Reviews on things

7. More photography

8. Will post on my obsession of the Hunger Games. Lily's got it worse.

9. Is it true? Rumours of a new doll, coming soon (months soon)

10. I won't be in hospital again and I am completely well -- just monthly checkups.

Well, time to go!

Peace Out,

Julie

Secrets, a Portfolio and Letters.

Jules is here! Okay, before I go on with about title -- I'd like to tell you who got onto the team -- Ashlynn, Lanie, Sienna, Freya, Rachel, Millie and Mollie (twins) and Lola. And me, of course.

Anyway.

As I was walking home by myself yesterday (Kit was already at home and Josefina had two extra-sessions of gymnastics) I checked the mail--nothing out of the ordinary. There was a letter for Kit though, addressed to Margaret Kittredge. I thought that was odd because she never gets letters apart from Ruthie, her friend in the USA and Ruthie never addresses them to Margaret. I stomped up the stairs, to the front door, threw my bag on the ground and yelled: "Margaret, you have a letter!"
Kit then slowly emerged from the hallway and asked: "And why are you calling me Mar-- you know what I mean." (she hates loathes her first name)
"Because it is addressed to a Margaret."
Kit smirked at me. "Well, come on, pass it over."
"Tell me what it's about first."
"How would I know, if I haven't looked at it yet?"
"Because it looks like you know."
"JULIE!!!"
"Okay, okay..." I quickly passed it over. She was in a rare, scary, short tempered mood.
She skimmed through it, and immediately relaxed, and gave a little twitch of a smile.
"So?" I asked.
"So what?"
"What is it about?"
"Nothing."
"Kit!" I groaned. She has to tell me. I was getting fed up.
"Julie, I said nothing!" she snapped. That told me the convo was done. She merrily skipped down the hall into her room.

Josefina suddenly burst through the door, and saw my expression. "Was up?" she asked.
"Kit got a letter and she won't tell me what it's about." I said, crossing my arms.
Josie shrugged. "She'll come through tomorrow morning. She always does."
"You think?"
Josie nodded. "Now come on, I'm starving."
"Obviously."

Anyway, skip past that, it's today, Saturday, during breakfast.

"Guys, I have to go to the city today, and Gracie is going to come with me.." Kit supplied us.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because..." she said quietly.
"Kit." Josie popped in, her mouth full of toast. "You aren't allowed to go anywhere without telling us. Lily's not here, she's at netball."
Kit bit her lip and played with her hair, took a deep breath and it all came out. "Igoamodjoanineeporfdone."
"What?" I asked, bewildered. "Sl-ow-do-o-wn." Josie added.

"I got a modelling job with B.T.A. and I have my portfolio done." she confessed.

I couldn't say anything. Josefina was astonished and I was... disgusted. She saw our expressions and said, "can't stop, gotta go, talk to you soon, will text you." and ran out the door.

I looked at Josie. "Is the beginning of a modelling nightmare?"
Josefina bit her lip.

Peace Out,

Julie

P.S. When Kit got home, she didn't say much. Just said there was one really good girl called Kat who went to some sorta academy and it was all fine. I managed to get my hands on some photos, but blogger is being mean to me and won't let me upload them. And what is a portfolio??

I am horrible.

Lily here. I am horrible. In a way. This blog has not been posted on for ages, from anyone -- I guess we all get carried away with school. During the time we have been away, I have practically slipped away from the cyber-world. I guess we will all have todays like that. Second, you know how I said how I have been trying to saving up for Kanani. Turns out that won't be happening till October or December. Urgh. I have decided to spend it on -- a pair of converse, two Lorna Jane shirts and some new togs and for my b'day I might just get a surfboard instead. So no new dolls till Dec, probably.

But no use raving about the past. Today, I will post again, with new photos. A fresh start. How about it?

Lily

*Hello, February... Good-Bye January*

Bonjour, Juliet here.

I would like to say hello to February, and goodbye to January.

January with a month that I found quite devastating, really: the twenty-eleven floods in Australia, and I wish a good rest-of-the-year to all the flood effected families. It was a quite sad. Apart from that, it was alright. Here in Australia, it was quite nice and sunny.

February. Well, I can assure you it gave Aussie the wrong idea already, and it's the second day. Cyclone Yasi is on it's way, to north Queensland as I type. No doubt, will it be a sad and grave event when it hits at midnight tonight. But, when it passes, hopefully everything will be alright and 2011 will be a good year. Valentine's day is on it's way, and soonish it will be my birthday. 1st of May. Oh well.

Thinking about my birthday, what I really want is my own doll. I do want one.

In case you were wondering, I am back at Vienna. My teacher is named Rachele - we're to call her by her first name. She's very nice, and quite interesting. Lynne, a girl in my class, says she used to work in Siberia. And I was elected Western Magic (my school basketball team) Captain! I am very excited, because I get to choose the team and hold trials (think of me as a Quidditch captain). I already have an idea of who I'll put in: Ashlynn, Rose, Freya, Lanie (she's surprisingly good for a quiet person), Rachel, Unknown, Unknown and I. But I guess I'll just have to wait to the trials, which are being held on the 7/2/11. Will let you know that afternoon.

Kit is the editor of Vienna Weekly, has earned herself a spot as a junior reporter in our local newspaper and is in the Vienna Girls Choir.

Josefina is head of Vienna Gymnastics/Western Magic Cheerleading. She is also a soccer player, at Vienna Districts United. (VDN)

I, am head of Western Magic Basketball Team (WMB) and do painting classes.

That is my schooling life.

While for the future: I have no idea. I do not know what I want to be when I grow up. It's like this long, windy path: behind you is clear, in front of you is this thick mist. If you take a wrong turn, you stumble. And one time, you'll have to fall.

Peace Out,

Julie

Photos and Flickr!

Jules here. So, the photos finally got downloaded so I can share them with you! (: I also created a flickr account which you can check out on: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dreaming_on_stars_14
Also, here is one of my favourites that I wanted to share with all of you readers.

I really love this one. I have a better, edited one on flickr, which you can check out now (:

I didn't get any photos of me on my trip (mostly because Lily was caught up in her own things) unfortunately, so I can't show you those.

Another thanks to 35 followers. In words, I couldn't tell you how happy I am! I am very grateful to you all!

Hope you can check out my flickr account! There are going to be more photos there.

Peace Out,

Julie

I'm Back!!

Hi everybody! Julie here, and I'm back.

I know it's been ages since I've posted, and we have a lot to catch up on. Here goes!

During the time I haven't posted, Lily moved house. Her new house is more spacious and large, which leads to another plus: more interesting photos, etc. Which leads to something which I'll add after this.

I would post some photos for you, but the computer isn't exactly being friendly right now. Will be fixed soon. Hopefully.

33 followers?! Thank you all! I am very grateful!

Lily still hasn't got Kanani yet.

At the moment, I am very lonely. Kit and Josefina got put in a box which is yet to be opened. I miss them.

And that's about it.

Anyway, here's something I should've done earlier in the year:

Things to Expect in 2011:

  1. More Photos.
  2. More Posts.
  3. Possibly a youtube channel, which Lily will create a stop-motion video.
  4. Possibly a competition or two. Or three!
And that's about it for today. Sorry it's hardly anything, will post longer soon.

Peace Out,

Julie

It's Raining... It's Pouring... I'm Pouting...

Yuck. Rain. Horrible, annoying, good-for-nothing rain. It is pouring down here. Which means I'm bored out of my wits. Two  Three reasons why I hate rain:

1. Nothing to do except talk, write, draw, listen, talk some more, listen even more, eat, breathe... I think you get the point.

2. After it's stopped raining, I want to go out and yell IT STOPPED RAINING!! But after it's rained, Lil has one rule: after raining = indoors. Because of mud. But personally, I like mud.

3. And three, well there really isn't a three because I had to make a three because I don't like the number two and no way would anything in my life ever end at two, full stop.

Anyway. (Thinking back to number three, I also have three besties -- Sienna, Ashlynn and Laine. My sisters are my besties as well but they're my sisters. And you may think I have two sisters, but BTW together we make 3. I've proved my point.)

Here are some photos of me in the rain. You can't tell it's raining, but trust me, it is.

Personal Favourite.

Woohoo! Excuse me. I just remembered I'm going on holidays with Lil tomorrow and I get to catch a plane -- for the first time! I'm giddy with excitement! Kit and Josie won't be posting 'cause no posting when Lily's not here. So, I'll post in about one week's time! I'll get some pics for you! On the down side, I'll miss Ashlynn's major slumber, but where going to have a private one all to ourselves when she gets back. She promises. I have to go pack, so:

Peace Out,

Julie

Dreaming...

Hello, readers! Yesterday was a quick post with Lily's entry, so here's an actual post, written by me. I have completely recovered which is good. I had an ear infection which are extremely painful. Anyway.

This morning I went for a walk in the garden, to get some fresh air -- I love taking walks, it makes me feel very relaxed. It's my way of relaxing. I also take some photos which I'll share with you, of course!

At the beginning of my walk

 I found a tree to climb! :)

Okay, now here's the weird part. After my walk, I sat on a step and just thought and thought and dreamed. I closed my eyes and ignored everything for a second or two -- then, an idea formed into my head -- I would really like to live on a farm, and have a horse. And be able to ride it, every day. Then it popped, I woke up and shook my head. No, I thought. I like my life here. I'm happy with basketball and art. So I stood up with clenched teeth and stomped up stairs. I tried to forget the idea, but it's still there, in the back of my mind.

Any of you had that happen to you?
Peace Out,

Julie

iHeart American Girl's GOTY 2012 Contest Entry!

Hey guys! Long time, no post. By the way, I'm better! So, as you can probably tell by the title, this is Lily's entry for Gabby's GOTY 2010 contest! You can check out the rules here on Gabby's blog.

So, here's her entry!

April Erinton is a ten year old girl living in Seattle who has a pet dog and is quiet and shy. She also has a disability - she’s blind. Everyone seems to think she’s weird and acts as though April can’t hear them. Then, Xylia arrives at April’s school. Even though Xylia is loud, outspoken and energetic they quickly become best friends and Xylia teaches April to have fun. But then, Xylia moves back to England, and April’s left in the shadows. But this time, can April change this herself?
If April was GOTY, I’d make her have two friend dolls -- Xylia, who would eventually move back, and April’s new friend, who I would name Shannon! She’d also come with her dog, Etoile who helps her around town.

Hope you enjoyed Lily's entry! Will post (hopefully) soon!

Peace Out,

Julie

P.S. Some people have asked which doll Lily's saving up for, it's going to be... Kanani! She's not there yet though.
