A Post By Josefina

Josefina Montoya, that's the New Girl. That's what I heard people whispering about me when I first came to Vienna. But now people don't think of me as the new girl anymore. They think of me as the flexible-and-sweet-natured-girl-from-mexico-who-has-really-long-hair-and-is-shy. And do I mind that? Not at all. Why? because it is true, and that's the way I want to be.

Okay, enough with the weird intro! I'm Josefina, an eleven-year-old doll who is my owner's latest addition to her collection of doll. By the way, my name is pronounced with a h, like Hosefina. But because we speak spanish, it's spelt with a J. As in Julie's previous posts (I'll talk about her later) she calls me Josie. So does that mean it's pronounced Hosie? Nope. She says it with a J and that's how I like it! You can call me Josie too. Anyway (as Jules would say).  As I was saying, I am Lily's third doll. The first was Kit, bought in NYC, followed by Julie, then me! I l also know for a fact she wants at least two next year. Possible three. She's nearly done saving up to buy a new doll and wants one for her birthday but wants something else for Christmas. Kit is a smart, friendly girl, who just scored herself (today) a job in the local newspaper to write a certain article a week. She's a meant-to-be-journalist. Next, Julie, another great sister! She's sorta a tomboy, except she loves art, a new-found talent of hers.

Okay, you may have the idea that I talk a lot, but seriously, I don't. I have the ability to think a lot. And now's a great time to spill it out!

Julie isn't posting cause she's sick, as you probably already know.I hope she gets better soon!

Actually, I'm not that bad at this, after all! Sorry. I thought I'd be horrible at this, blogging-ma-gig with all these modern gadgets, but I'm keeping up!

Sooo... oh yeah, that's right! I was gonna show you guys some really cool pictures I took this morning with Lily, but the cable that connects the camera to the computer has gone to some distant planet,  by the looks of things. (i.e. I lost it. I'm not really good at keeping track of where things are) So I can't show you until I found it. Grrrrrr. So, I was going to see if there were any other pictures on this user, but then I remembered that Lily rarely uses this user. But then I found a kinda cute picture of Kit, loaded up picnik and got:

Not bad for a beginner, not bad. I used the winterise effect (my fave) followed by snow. I guess that's all I have time for, today!

Peace Out,

Josie

P.S. Please comment (below) and tell me what you think about my post and me!
P.P.S. You might wonder where I learnt to talk kinda modernish... if you want to start pointing fingers, go blame Julie!
P.P.P.S. What's with all the P.S., P.P.S., and P.P.P.S? I find them annoying!

A Post by Kit

Hello! Kit here! Julie miscalculated times, and she won't be leaving for more than a week, which gives plenty of time to post. She recently fell ill, so I decided I would post for her! Because she is sick, she may not be able to go.

With Julie's help, I updated her blog! (As you can see)

On to the point. The weather is really dreadful here. It is pouring. Ugh. Not what I picture summer. There is nothing to picture, because all the grass is mushy and there is no color, and I love taking pictures with color. Sorry about my raving, but it's true. So, I took out the camera, and this is what I got.

I'm not dissapointed on how they turned out, either. These two don't have any editing done on them. Also, Lily took photos of us three last night. The light was really bad, so they're not that good, but oh well.

This one isn't edited at all, either. I guess the light effect isn't too bad, I kinda like it.
Anyway, enough with the photos. So, apart from that, everything is pretty uneventful. Ashlynn, a new friend of mine, is having a huge summer slumber party coming up, and us three are all going. If Julie gets better. So, that's my post. Josie will post soon, probably tomorrow, with her picture, and Julie after that. If she doesn't get well ASAP, I'll post with her picture!

Peace Out,

Kit

Merry Christmas!

Hello! Sorry I didn't post yesterday like I was supposed too - We had church and everything. But that's beside the point --

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Oh, I love Christmas. I have true Christmas spirit, and I do believe in Santa Claus, I am not embarrassed to say so. Kit doesn't though, and that's her problem. Anyway.

Because time in Australia is ahead of you guys in America, Lily and us three have been awake for hours.

Lily did not get any AG things for Christmas (she didn't want anything from AG for Xmas 2010 *:(*) but she got some pretty cool stuff.  She got a country road tote bag, a watch, iTunes Card,  finally Lego HP for the PS3 and a series of other stuff I am not bothered to list. Anyway. (By the way, if you have a white Christmas,  you are very fortunate. We have a freezing, raining Christmas. 24 C... Brrrrr... Oh, I'm going off raving...)

So that was a brief explanation of our Christmas! Now I'll announce the contest winners :

In third place, Gertie1999!
Her entry:

Fun
Hot
Dry
Tiring
Sun Screen
Pool
Vacation

In second place, Caelen!

Her entry:

Summer, such a wonderful season, the birds chirp, the sky is blue, all the animals come back and families go on vacations that bring them closer together.
Yet I wonder, scratch that, yet I know that everything comes alive, old couples think back to their summer romances and kids go to their grandparents, relatives and any other family members.
Kids go to camp and see their old friends, they play games and sing songs and tell scary stories by the camp fire it's almost as if you can hear their laughter.
But for me, summer is a time of the year when I go to visit my grandparents and summer is the best season ever! So I don't want to waste it.

She went a bit over 50 words, but I loved how creative it was!

In first place... Emma!

To me, Summer is the season to see friends and have free time because you have no school.

She also had a gorgeous picture, which I was going to post, but Blogger isn't being my best friend right at this moment.

Congratulations, all of you! I loved reading your entries. I have already emailed your certificates. If you didn't get them for some reason, please email me.

I have to go now, so see you!

NB: I will be going away soon with Lily, so I won't be posting for quite a while (about 4-5 weeks). This will be my last post for 2010! Unless, I have a change of mind, of course! So have a happy New Year!

Peace Out & Merry Christmas,

Julie

P.S. I'm scratching the 31 followers. I don't think I'll be able to do it, and anyway, this is only my 18th post!
