A Post By Josefina

Josefina Montoya, that's the New Girl. That's what I heard people whispering about me when I first came to Vienna. But now people don't think of me as the new girl anymore. They think of me as the flexible-and-sweet-natured-girl-from-mexico-who-has-really-long-hair-and-is-shy. And do I mind that? Not at all. Why? because it is true, and that's the way I want to be.

Okay, enough with the weird intro! I'm Josefina, an eleven-year-old doll who is my owner's latest addition to her collection of doll. By the way, my name is pronounced with a h, like Hosefina. But because we speak spanish, it's spelt with a J. As in Julie's previous posts (I'll talk about her later) she calls me Josie. So does that mean it's pronounced Hosie? Nope. She says it with a J and that's how I like it! You can call me Josie too. Anyway (as Jules would say).  As I was saying, I am Lily's third doll. The first was Kit, bought in NYC, followed by Julie, then me! I l also know for a fact she wants at least two next year. Possible three. She's nearly done saving up to buy a new doll and wants one for her birthday but wants something else for Christmas. Kit is a smart, friendly girl, who just scored herself (today) a job in the local newspaper to write a certain article a week. She's a meant-to-be-journalist. Next, Julie, another great sister! She's sorta a tomboy, except she loves art, a new-found talent of hers.

Okay, you may have the idea that I talk a lot, but seriously, I don't. I have the ability to think a lot. And now's a great time to spill it out!

Julie isn't posting cause she's sick, as you probably already know.I hope she gets better soon!

Actually, I'm not that bad at this, after all! Sorry. I thought I'd be horrible at this, blogging-ma-gig with all these modern gadgets, but I'm keeping up!

Sooo... oh yeah, that's right! I was gonna show you guys some really cool pictures I took this morning with Lily, but the cable that connects the camera to the computer has gone to some distant planet,  by the looks of things. (i.e. I lost it. I'm not really good at keeping track of where things are) So I can't show you until I found it. Grrrrrr. So, I was going to see if there were any other pictures on this user, but then I remembered that Lily rarely uses this user. But then I found a kinda cute picture of Kit, loaded up picnik and got:

Not bad for a beginner, not bad. I used the winterise effect (my fave) followed by snow. I guess that's all I have time for, today!

Peace Out,

Josie

P.S. Please comment (below) and tell me what you think about my post and me!
P.P.S. You might wonder where I learnt to talk kinda modernish... if you want to start pointing fingers, go blame Julie!
P.P.P.S. What's with all the P.S., P.P.S., and P.P.P.S? I find them annoying!

A Post by Kit

Hello! Kit here! Julie miscalculated times, and she won't be leaving for more than a week, which gives plenty of time to post. She recently fell ill, so I decided I would post for her! Because she is sick, she may not be able to go.

With Julie's help, I updated her blog! (As you can see)

On to the point. The weather is really dreadful here. It is pouring. Ugh. Not what I picture summer. There is nothing to picture, because all the grass is mushy and there is no color, and I love taking pictures with color. Sorry about my raving, but it's true. So, I took out the camera, and this is what I got.

I'm not dissapointed on how they turned out, either. These two don't have any editing done on them. Also, Lily took photos of us three last night. The light was really bad, so they're not that good, but oh well.

This one isn't edited at all, either. I guess the light effect isn't too bad, I kinda like it.
Anyway, enough with the photos. So, apart from that, everything is pretty uneventful. Ashlynn, a new friend of mine, is having a huge summer slumber party coming up, and us three are all going. If Julie gets better. So, that's my post. Josie will post soon, probably tomorrow, with her picture, and Julie after that. If she doesn't get well ASAP, I'll post with her picture!

Peace Out,

Kit

Merry Christmas!

Hello! Sorry I didn't post yesterday like I was supposed too - We had church and everything. But that's beside the point --

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Oh, I love Christmas. I have true Christmas spirit, and I do believe in Santa Claus, I am not embarrassed to say so. Kit doesn't though, and that's her problem. Anyway.

Because time in Australia is ahead of you guys in America, Lily and us three have been awake for hours.

Lily did not get any AG things for Christmas (she didn't want anything from AG for Xmas 2010 *:(*) but she got some pretty cool stuff.  She got a country road tote bag, a watch, iTunes Card,  finally Lego HP for the PS3 and a series of other stuff I am not bothered to list. Anyway. (By the way, if you have a white Christmas,  you are very fortunate. We have a freezing, raining Christmas. 24 C... Brrrrr... Oh, I'm going off raving...)

So that was a brief explanation of our Christmas! Now I'll announce the contest winners :

In third place, Gertie1999!
Her entry:

Fun
Hot
Dry
Tiring
Sun Screen
Pool
Vacation

In second place, Caelen!

Her entry:

Summer, such a wonderful season, the birds chirp, the sky is blue, all the animals come back and families go on vacations that bring them closer together.
Yet I wonder, scratch that, yet I know that everything comes alive, old couples think back to their summer romances and kids go to their grandparents, relatives and any other family members.
Kids go to camp and see their old friends, they play games and sing songs and tell scary stories by the camp fire it's almost as if you can hear their laughter.
But for me, summer is a time of the year when I go to visit my grandparents and summer is the best season ever! So I don't want to waste it.

She went a bit over 50 words, but I loved how creative it was!

In first place... Emma!

To me, Summer is the season to see friends and have free time because you have no school.

She also had a gorgeous picture, which I was going to post, but Blogger isn't being my best friend right at this moment.

Congratulations, all of you! I loved reading your entries. I have already emailed your certificates. If you didn't get them for some reason, please email me.

I have to go now, so see you!

NB: I will be going away soon with Lily, so I won't be posting for quite a while (about 4-5 weeks). This will be my last post for 2010! Unless, I have a change of mind, of course! So have a happy New Year!

Peace Out & Merry Christmas,

Julie

P.S. I'm scratching the 31 followers. I don't think I'll be able to do it, and anyway, this is only my 18th post!

Josie

I'm sorry I haven't posted in ages, I've been super busy. The usual - tests, homework, and Harry Potter 7P1. I loved the movie. Totally my favourite.

Also, Kit and I still aren't on the same terms. And Josie isn't sure who to pick. Well, her and I made a really pretty collage of her the other day!

I love it! It's gorgeous. I was reading Love that Doll when it showed a picture they made from a place called picnik. It seemed awesome, so I checked it out, and that is what Josie and I came up with. Pretty, hey?
Sorry this was a short post, will post later.

Peace Out,

Julie

P.S. Thank you my 20 followers! You mean a lot to me...

Sobs of Loneliness *sniff*

Life is so not fair. So not fair. Okay, so I went to school the other day and suffered at bad day. Worse then bad. It started like this. Me and my friends and sisters (Sienna, Gracie, Emma, Josie, Kit and I) decided to kinda dress up. Just not be our boring selves. If you know what I mean. For one day. One. Okay, it was my idea.
So, we all catch the bus together, with the snobs. Hannah, Jasmine, Ashlynn, Lanie, Erin and... Trisha Nobman, the worst of the worst. They stick together, only care about themselves, (by that I mean Hannah only cares about Hannah, Trisha about Trisha and so on) and what's hot and not. We're on the bus, when Hannah and Trisha approach. Sienna and I eye each other. This is not good.

"Hello. You must be Josefina. I'm Trish and this is Hannah." she smirked at Josie.

"Actually, it's pronounced with a h." Sienna piped up.

"Oh, sorry." I bet you Trisha Nobman actually said in her nasty, useless mind. "Who cares how her names pronounced! She's not me!"

"Well, we're thinking of having a larger group today. And I was wondering if you four (pointing at Josie, Kit, Gracie and... Emma) would like to sit with us."

"Sure," they shrugged. They did not have, or even knew about, the grudge between Sienna, I and the snobs.

"Hey what about us?" I asked standing up.

"Sorry, their's only enough room for eight."

"Surely, there would be room for two more," Sienna joined in. "And hey, there's six of you, and four of them. That makes ten."

Trisha ignored the comment. "See you there!" she smirked at me and Sienna and took over, followed by Hannah.

I slunk into my chair with Sienna. Doing so, I happened to realize Lanie and Ashlynn weren't sitting with anyone but themselves. And it clicked into my head. They were kicked out by Trisha. Geez. I wondered why.

Well, I knew it wasn't such a good day already. But little did I know.

I flunked algebra, got my locker stuck, tripped over a Gr. 8, forgot my palm cards for the talk I was doing, got my timetable mixed up and went to Basketball training instead or english, then the cafeteria. I now understand why Greg Heffley quoted the cafeteria the worst place in the world.

So I slunk by myself in a chair. Over watching the snobs. Sienna was late.

I noticed Lanie by herself. Wandering around where to sit. I saw she got rudely ejected nine times. She'd even tried to ask at a Gr. 8 table. I saw her inhaling deeply and realized why. She was coming towards me. Me, Juliet Marie Albright. A snob and me.

She approached me and swallowed hard. She opened her mouth.

"Yes." I casually smiled.

"Um, beg your pardon?" she whispered.

"Of course, have a seat." I smiled.

"Really?"

"Really? Of course! I'm by my self." I shrugged. Woah, she had a quiet voice.

Then, my attention was grabbed by Sienna who was madly waving at me. She was standing next to Ashlynn. Boy, is this a weird day. I motioned her to come over and sit with me. The two came casually and sat down.

I gave her a funny look, which she gave back. I nearly laughed. Nearly. I was wondering if we would hit off in conversation, when I remembered Ashlynn Davies was a chatterbox. We probably would.

"So, left to rot by Trisha?" she asked, flicking her long blonde hair out of her way.

"Talk about rot," I smiled.

"She's so mean." Lanie whispered.

"Do we know, or what!" Senna (that's what I call Sienna) rolled her eyes.

"That was really rude what she did to you." Ashlynn said.

"Talk about rude! Look what she did to you two!" Senna said.

Wow. We talked for ages. Okay, so you may think the day ended pretty well and everything, but then, Kit's laugh made me turn two tables away to where they were sitting. The people who had sat between us had cleared, and I could hear them well.

"Talk about supporting the preppy look!" Trisha gloated.

I felt my cheeks reddening as I heard other snippets. They were talking about me.

I couldn't take it. I stormed off.

I could hear Senna, Lanie and Ashlynn's confused cries, but I didn't look back as my eyes filled with tears.

That was a few days ago. Now, I'm considering Lanie and Ashlynn friends. Scratch that line, I am.

You see, Kit and I had an argument, that went along the lines of friends. Now, we're not talking. I actually haven't been sleeping. I've been staying over at Senna's. And Josie's taking on Kit's side. Okay, I may not be totally alone, but well enough. At home, at least. And am I really supporting the preppy look? Okay, maybe.

Peace Out,

Julie

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody!

Sorry I haven't been posting in such a loooooooong time, I've had to had a little holiday from blogging.

To start, Happy Halloween for yesterday! It was super fun trick or treating. For Lily. But me and my friends from my school (Vienna Woods SS) Gracie, obviously Kit and Josie, Sienna and I did our own little round. It was super fun.

I haven't also been posting cause of school. I had an oral presentation to give in and more (e.g. maths test - uck! I am really, really bad at maths). May not seem like much, but trust me it, is.

Thirdly, it's been National AG Literacy Week in Australia. Practically means that I have to read. A book a day. It was Kit's idea - of course. Then you fill out a submission letter, get your owner to sign it and send it in. These are the books Kit forced me to read:

The Undrowned Child
The Magician's Nephew
The Bad Beginning
The Locket of Dreams
Danny - Champion of the World
The Mysterious Benedict Society
HP #1

Kit read, well, more complicated ones. Including the Hobbit and HP #5. The books I read were really good for ME. Usually I only read BSC books.

Oh yeah, Lily's friend slept over one random day, and she bought this awesome blue drink called an Aroona. Lily's brother had a Solo. Anyway, I asked if I could take some random photos. Funnily, they said yes. So we spent the whole morning taking photos, playing with drinks and making experiments.

Oh yeah! (again :D) Kanani! The so called GOTY 2011! Well, so far she sounds really interesting. Apparently she's Hawaiian, which is awesome! Lily really wants her already. And I'm fine with that!

Peace Out,

My Daily Life.

Hey! Jules here! Well, I was randomly wondering what I was going to do for my next post, when I realized, it was sitting right under my nose. Kinda literally. I would do what I do every day! Wake up. So here is a pic of where us 3 live, love & laugh.

Okay. So I usually go to sleep in the middle bed. I'm up first, followed by Josie. 10 mins (at least) followed by Kit. So, me and Josie go jump in the shower, then wake Kit up, who gets all grumbly and moans a lot for the first 2 mins. Then realizes "I'm gonna be late!" and puts her act on. After a lot of pushing and shoving and "you've had long enough with the hairbrush gimme!" we're all dressed and done.

Next, some good old weetbix does the trick. Traditional Aussie brekky.

I usually have 5 mins then to make a Vegemite sandwich. PB & J for Kit and hommus and cucumber for Josie. Then, we pack up our troubles in our old Kit bag! (he-he :D) And run to school. And I get a detention for my skirt being too high up and my hair being too 'inappropriate' by Mrs. Janet. She's the worst teacher ever, at least at Vienna Woods State School where I go to. I can't wait till high school.

Quick post! Oh yeah, Lil has made her mind up her doll! SHE WON'T TELL US THOUGH! Cannot wait till she tells. Josie and Kit are asleep and I'm listening to my iPod (Back to December) and hearing Kit sleep talk about someone. Hmmm.

Peace Out,

Julie

Sport Fanatics!

Julie here! Today I learn some interesting things about about our new friend, Josefina. Well, it started like this. We were sitting cross-legged on our beds this morning, when I popped up with the question that you would've said in one way or another at least once in your life: "What are we going to do today? I'd like to do something for my blog." So, suggestion after suggestion, Josefina asked "Don't you ever just play some sport?"
"You, you, you like sport?" Kit exclaimed.
"Yes..." she began slowly, "don't you?"
"I love it, and so does Jules, but we didn't know you did!" Kit told her.
"So what do you like?" I asked her.
"Anything!" she shrugged.
"Anything?" I asked again. Was she kidding?
"Anything." she confirmed.
"Well, I love baseball and Jules loves basketball!" Kit said.
"Cool!" she grinned. "So, wanna go into the backyard and play!"
No need for reply. We were up and racing out the door and down the stairs. To our surprise, Josefina won!
Kit and I began doing stretches, so Josefina joined in. And woah, Josefina was flexible. Kit and I were stunned.
"Sick." Kit awed.
"Out there." I awed as well. She could do the splits almost as well as Ivy! (No one is better than Ivy) Kit and I tried to copy her. Personal fail!

amazing Josefina
Played some handball after lunch! Josefina won, off course...

Is she flexible!

Finally, I get to share some exciting news with you! Josefina found in the mail the western magic basketball club. I went to their trials today and got in! I am so excited, I'll be able to play basketball again! *Dancing around Crazily*

Oh yeah, I chose Josefina a nickname so I don't have to write her full name on the blog ;) or keep on saying: Josefina, Josefina, Josefina! Gets a bit long. It is... Josie! So Josefina is now Josie. The poll was a bit useless. Sorry.

Oh yes, Kit, Josie and I are now the Sports Fanatics! He he!

Peace Out,

Julie

P.S. It's my 10th Post!

A Post by Lily

Hello! Lily, co-writer of Peace Out, Julie, here! Decided it was turn to have a post. Julie will write next time, promise! Well, some people have requested some more photos of my gorgeous new doll Josefina! So, me and Josefina went for a walk in the garden this morning and took some beautiful pictures!  It was very fun and we enjoyed looking at the flowers.

But, before I go onto the photos, I'd just like to say that I'm in love with Taylor Swift's new single - Speak Now! So, if you're looking for a new song, I totally recommend Speak Now. On the subject, have you seen Taylor on the cover of Back to December (great new song as well)? For those who haven't, she straightened her hair and looks beautiful!  Those songs are both available on iTunes now. Can't wait till Oct 25th!

Okay, on to my lovely new doll Josefina!

With the beautiful orange flowers

The adorable little flowers (and Josefina's skirt)

Gorgeous Josefina

On the grass

Josefina with the lily's I got for my birthday

Hope you enjoyed those photos! If you want a new historical character, I recommend Josefina. She's utterly beautiful and her hair is gorgeous!

Well, three more things I just have too say before I go!

I'm getting my ears pierced today and really excited! Wish me luck!

Secondly,  I have 14 followers now and very grateful to them! You just make my day! Funny enough, 14 is one of my lucky numbers...

And lastly but absolutely not least, I cannot wait for Harry Potter 7 to come out! 18 days to go...

Well, I guess, I have to say my farewell...

Peace Out,

Lily

P.S. Julie will restart the poll of which doll I should get next, as I've created a larger choice! Please vote!

Happy Birthday Lily!

Part 1
Hello! Sadly I haven't posted for a few days. But I'm back!

OMG! Today was Lily's 11th birthday! (14.10.10) And a good and bad thing happened - the two dolls, me and Kit became 3! So, guess which new one Lily got?
....................................
She got... Josefina!

Yup, that's right. Lily opened Josefina this morning! She is... beautiful. Which is the problem. You see, Lily loves Josefina so much. And was going to get Josefina instead of me, but... decided me. Well, Kit is Lil's favourite. But now, I've got this sick feeling in my gut. What about me? I feel left out already. I'll tell you what happened today.

I'm sitting on the balcony minding my own business, then, all of a sudden, I here two voices behind. First thought - Lily and her friend. Until I realized that was Kit's voice and another - with an accent. I herd snippets of the conversation, but one sentence made me turn around. "You'll love Jules, she's the best!"

I turn around and guess who I see? Kit and another girl.

"Hey Julie!" Kit calls me. "This is Josefina!"

"Umm... Hi!" I replied hesitantly. Who was she? "Are you a friend of Kit's?"

"I am now! And yours too, and who know's, we might even be besties! Oh, silly me, I forgot to tell you the most important part! I'm Lily's new doll!" she grinned.

It hit me like an arrow. Josefina was my new housemate sister! Before I knew it,  Kit and Josefina we're chatting to each other like they were old friends they had known since they were one years old who had bumped into each other in the supermarket. *Sigh*. How is this happening?

Well, it was when Kit suggested a walk in the garden which really changed the day. Soon, we were in an awkward silence, when Josefina broke the silence. "Woah, the grass is green here!"

To make a long story short, that got the convo shooting, and she was... my bestie! With Kit!

That was a really quick recap on what happened today.

And here's a sweet photo of us together:

Boy, do things go fast!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2

Okay, so that's what happened today. But two things and one that is really important first, on Lily's behalf.
First -- These are some blogs I'd love you to check out!

Remarkable Rebecca :)

and

Julie Sparkles

Anyway, they both really want more follower's (like me!) and would love you to check them out!

Secondly...

What is AG doing to AG?

It is completely ruining it, making it something else. I love the Historical Characters. (duh, I am one) And AG is going OVER THE TOP with MAG's. I'm not being jealous or anything, it's true. And retiring those AG historical characters, I don't agree with that.

Do any of you agree! Please comment!

Well, Happy Birthday Lily! Hope you enjoyed this post.
A TV Commercial? Isn't that just a little over the top?

Don't really get the list thingy.  But I'm still printing one out!

Peace Out,

Julie

Holiday

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy and tired. Actually, Lily is busy and tired. She won't give me her password to log in. She says it's obvious. Anyway. Lily is sad as a serious and tragic problem arose a few days ago.

Well, on a happier note, my cousin Holiday sent me a letter from France! Holiday is so nice and one of the best photographer's I know. Here is what she sent to me:

5.10.10

Bonjour, Julie!

How are you, in Australia? France is great, and quite warm, well, I guess for Paris. It's 14'C right now.
Maman told me I might get to stay with you. Who knows when? Months, or even years. But I will 99% come and see you and your new friend Kit. I have made a great friend, like your friends Kit and Ivy, named Sienna. She is a great runner. Well, I must hurry and get Louise, one of our horses (we are staying at our farm for a week), back in the stable. She is getting a bit cold.

Love from Holiday

Well, that was what she sent me. Holiday was born in Australia but moved to Paris when she was eight. She's thirteen now.

Well, like Holiday, (nicknamed Holi or Daydream) I've gotta go! Sorry it was a dull and picture-less post. Hope you enjoyed it!

Peace Out,

Julie

Spring -- or Fall?

Today, Lily had to go back to school :( . I'll miss having her around. It's kinda quiet lonely without her here. Here are some photos that we took of me this arvo.

I'm exhausted!

Here's some of my artwork.

The finished masterpiece!

Felt like a little siesta...

Sorry it's not a very interesting post, mostly pictures! So well. Well, I'll
(hopefully) have another post for tomorrow.

Oh yes, thank you my 9 followers! You make my day! I'm very grateful :D! Hopefully I'll soon have 10!

Which made me make a goal: I wish to have, hmm... 50 followers before 12:00am on the 31st of December! Please help me reach my goal by telling your friends about my blog and I'll try to return the favour!

Well, gotta go!

Peace Out,

Julie!

Airports, Random Photography and Beautiful Kit

I'm so sorry I haven't been posting, and... I broke a promise! I hate doing that. I do not have a story, or pictures of Hamilton Island. They are on the other user and I'm not bothered to get the USB and transfer them to my/Lily's user. Or email them across. Sorry about that. Anyway.

I was mucking around on the camera and learnt how to make nice photos! For me. Well, instead of that story and HI photos, I have photos of the dolls airport, some random photography and pictures of Kit, which I'll explain soon. I decided to put all the photos together in one post because... I don't know why.

So, here are the photos of the doll's airport!

Here's me!

My boarding pass

Picture explains all!

My tiny auto - pilot plane!

Ready to go!

The Bag Drop should be called the bag slide...

Here we go!

AND... Here's my random photography around Lily's house when it was raining.

I call this the rain fence.

I don't know why, but this photo appeals to me so much!

Okay, here goes. Kit had to do a project at our school (I'll post about that... one day). It was to take some photos of yourself with help of a friend (Weird project, hey?). But she didn't believe she was beautiful, and (OMG) didn't want to do the project. That isn't like her. So I had to step in. After a lot of convincing, I took her down to the garden and took some photos of her.

Isn't she beautiful? It cheered her up a little, but I think she need's a little more convincing! Please comment about how beautiful Kit is (then she'll probably will believe me)!

Well, sorry about that long post! Hope you enjoyed it. And I don't hate comments or followers :D! Thank you to my 6th follower, Cali and her very much appreciated comment ;) .

Peace Out,

Julie
